What is the New York City Association of Insurance Women and who are its members?

The New York City Association of Insurance Women serves its members by providing professional education, an environment to build business alliances, and the opportunity to make connections with people of differing career paths and levels of experience within the insurance industry.

NYCAIW membership is open to women and men in the insurance and risk management industries who strive for and practice professionalism, regardless of their career level. Members work in every facet of the industry – as agents or brokers, adjusters, attorneys, underwriters, claims professionals, risk managers, producers, insurance educators, accountants, customer service representatives, agency owners and automation specialists. Students who are working towards a career in insurance are also invited for membership.
